Project Eden
A downloadable game
Join us. Survive.
Unearth your past and unlock the unsettling mysteries of this deserted retro-futuristic colony to decide the fate of the HMAS Eden and the souls within it.
About This Game
You wake up aboard the HMAS Eden, a last-ditch attempt for humanity to ascend beyond their doomed planet, with no memory of how you got there. Afraid and isolated, navigate through arduous puzzles in an unnerving PS2-style world while a malevolent AI watches over your every move. Collect clues to unlock live footage and colony secrets, thread together the story and make the ultimate choice. You’ll never truly live but together, we can survive.
In Project Eden, you will:
- Use mind-bending clues found around the ship to unlock memory sequences and alter the present-day space to progress.
- Aggregate information about yourself and the ship from inspecting items in your environment.
- Leave no stone unturned and comb through an intricately detailed interactive 3D space.

idk if it's my 1336x768 screen but the game looks crunchy. the filter coupled with darkness make it very hard to see. i couldn't get past the part where you have to control a robot(?) to get it to stand on a platform because the terminal keyboard didn't register my clicks, i think? sometimes it worked, but i just couldn't even press the buttons most of the time
Thanks for letting us know. The game itself is not very well optimised as I'm still learning the ropes for that, so it's likely that your CPU is working extremely hard to catch up with the framerates, which will not register all mouse clicks, especially if you click too quickly.
Thanks for trying out the game though. Once I have time after semester, I'll be looking at possible ways to improve performance to help with that and add a gamma slider.
Is the game complete? I see the state is under development?
Whoops. Yes. It's fully released now. I'll go change the state. Thanks for letting me know!
